Our Aroma Room and Tasting Theatre offers Australia’s premier wine appreciation experience. You’ll expand your wine vocabulary and taste six world-class Australian wines - including the World’s Greatest Shiraz - as you are guided on screen by the winemakers who made them.

Gaining a deeper wine appreciation
Wine has hidden depths. When you get to know it better, you can take your wine appreciation to a whole new level. That’s why we’ve created Australia’s first Aroma Room and Tasting Theatre.

Explore wine scents in our Aroma Room
When you drink truly great wine, you want to be able to name the aromas and flavours you’re experiencing. In our Aroma Room, you’ll learn how to articulate your appreciation of fine wine. 

Identify a wine by its aroma
You’ll be introduced to 50 aromas that characterise Australian wine. e.g. orange blossom is associated with aromatic white wines, and leather can be detected in certain reds. The Aroma Room will help you identify and describe fine Australian wine.

Enter our Wine Tasting Theatre
After the Aroma Room, you’ll be ushered into our Tasting Theatre. Our Sommelier will place tastings of six premium Australian wines – including Witchmount’s  2004 Shiraz – The World’s Greatest Shiraz. The lights will be dimmed and a movie will roll.

Meet Australia’s Wine Treasures
On screen, the winemakers who created these great wines will guide you in your wine tasting. As you listen, you’ll discover qualities in the wine you hadn’t previously detected and enter a new realm of wine appreciation. Click here to find out more about the featured wineries and winemakers >

Price: $49.95 per ticket includes $10 Wine Journey Room Card (taste from 44 of Australia’s very best wines in the Wine Journey Room).  Must be 18 years and older.

Times: Shows run every hour on the hour starting at 12 noon.
